Killington, VT and Maine again?!

Hello all,
On the trail we are currently in Killington, VT and have been really enjoying getting back into some larger mountains in Vermont. We also now have <500 miles to go! The weather has been pretty good with off and on T-storms/showers and it is true the trail in Vermont is muddy! We reunited with our friends Rodeo Clown and Trash Bag who we have been hiking with now for 800+ miles. We have been having a blast with them and together we refer to ourselves as the Mountain Furies (a name we gathered during our biking adventure).

I have had some continual issues with my feet and back and this past week it got to the point where rest was really the only solution. So the Mountain Furies rented a car and drove to Maine for a 3 day vacation with the hopes that my body will be ready for the final trek to Maine. As we enter into New Hampshire we'll try to keep folks posted on where we will be and when.

Thanks to everyone for the continued support and motivation it really is appreciated!!

Love you guys
Ben and Amanda

HI Ben and Amanda, I miss you already, it was so nice to have you at the campground, even though I was too busy to see much of you. I still can feel your hugs. Nice to meet your MT. Flurries buds as well. Be safe, be happy. Love, Mom

Keep up the great work. You're getting closer with each step. Enjoy the Whites, must feel like home already. Remember Larry stuck in that bog at the top of Eisenhower? Have fun and know that you are missed.

Hi Ben and Amanda -
It's been great reading your stories and seeing the pictures. I'd love to hear and see more! We'll have to meet up this fall. We move down to Boston in a few weeks for some big city livin'!

Enjoy the last legs of your journey. When you get a chance, check out www.beingcaribou.com , a site about a couple doing cool things like you are.

Libby.

Hi Amanda and Ben-it was so good to see you and your friends as you arrived from Vermont. It is such a joy to be able to be present with you on your trip, loving, following, sending boxes and cookies-only a few more to go, helping to support your bodies with some therapy, and to really witness your internal growth and wisdom. Thought of you as I swam along the buoys at Range. I hope your feet and back are breathing easy and know that home is only a phone call away. I miss you and love you
