Hi Everyone,
A quick update. We are in Glencliff, NH and have now hiked ~1775 miles. We are looking forward to getting back into the White's; our old stomping grounds! My body is doing better after some rest and we cannot wait to steam those "sters" on the summit of Mt. K.
Love to everyone at home!

Hi Ben & Amanda, Wow! You two are cooking!!! Must feel great to be in familar territory. Glad to hear your physical maladies are improving Amanda. It's greuling enough to do the AT without problems, Kudos to you for sticking to it. You both make me so proud. Hope to see you soon, be safe, you are so close to the finish. Love, Mom & Dad
I was hiking in Acadia last week. Since I had no computer, I was unsure of your whereabouts. I smiled at my "tiny hikes" compared to your mileage. But it was nice to be on a mountain at the same time you were. Can't believe how close you are to home!
Love,
Dianne B.
Hey Ben and Amanda!
Sounds like you guys are doing great! We finished today, and I can tell you that the feeling you get when you reach that sign is unreal. Keep chuggin and enjoy every day. We missed you for most of our hike. I'll try to be in touch!

You guys are unbelievable!! So glad to hear you are feeling stronger. It's got to be exciting to be in the final stetch now. I am incredibly proud of you and can't wait to see you when you get home!!

Hi to everyone-this is a note to let everyone know that amanda also known as teflon or oceans tide and ben also known as walking carrot and rivah and lots more were in pinkham notch yesterday the 5th and will be heading to maine today and look to be around andover by the end of the week. They are still with their friends rodeo clown and trashbag. all four of the mountain furries were an integral part of a mountain search and rescue and helped a woman be transported out by way of helicopter. They were rewarded with a free night stay at the Zealand falls hut. They also spent a night at Mizpah hut-the huts are a busy place....They are well and have had fresh showers, a picnic lunch-with mom and eric, a resupply of food and fresh baked blueberry cake. They are all looking forward to their finish the end of August.
Much love to you both and glad that your bodies are doing well. It was fun to hang with you and perhaps we will see you again before the end of the hike for a camp.
Blessings and hugs and always sooo much love
mom
